摘要

Accurate knowledge of the spectral emission from an x-ray tube has been a problem of permanent concern during recent decades. Different areas of physics such as x-ray fluorescence spectrometry, medical physics studies etc. require tabulated spectral data. Several techniques and methods have been proposed in the past to solve this problem. In this work we propose an indirect method of x-ray spectrum determination by measuring fluorescent intensities from pure elements. The main aspect of this proposal is that no changes of the spectrometer are required, such as tube removal or disassembly of the sample chamber.
