PS plate producers hang together to hike price

41 Chinese producers of aluminum PS plate have recently reached-an agreement to raise price of PS plate by at least 3 yuan per square meter, China Nonferrous Metal News reported on March 16. Primary aluminum ingot is the raw material for production of PS plate and the cost of aluminum ingot accounts for around 70 percent of cash cost of PS plate. The primary aluminum prices have largely risen worldwide this year compared with last year, which have largely eroded profits of the PS plate producer and even force them to cut production to avoid much loss.
