IHE and IATsign a Memorandum of Understanding

The Institute of Asphalt Technology (IAT) and the IHE have recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) setting out a closer working relationship between the organisations. The MoU will see the two institutes work closer together to meet the objectives of the agreement, which are 'to promote sectoral co-operation in the field of asphalt technology and highways specifically in relation to activities in the development of standards and specifications and in dissemination of knowledge and learning'. The agreement has the aim of providing mutual platforms forthe exchange, co-operation and development of topics of mutual interest, and to provide the organisations with support for providing training and educational activities such as CPD events, as well as seminars and conferences.
