Prices for longs skyrocket in Poland

Price growth gathers pace in the Polish longs market. Local and foreign suppliers continue to jointly drive finished steel offers up referring to steadily growing raw materials costs (EUR 15-25/t in January). Market players say that prices move up practically every week. Moreover, revaluation of zloty has caused additional increase in euro tags by about EUR 7/t.
