1. Building for Life has published an online guide for developers on producing well designed developments worthy of its awards. Good place making and sustainability are as much a part of Building for Life criteria as architectural quality. 2. TfL's Guidance for Residential Travel Planning in London requires plans for all new development of over 80 units and suggests they be self enforced by Section 106 agreements to cover the cost of any subsequent action to deliver targets. The targets themselves could be the number of trips per household or the percentage of households using internet shopping. There is also a guide on workplace travel plans.
