Precise and accurate use of salt The duration and highly unusual widespread snow fall across the country saw little thaw for extended periods of time. This allowed for typical accumulations of 30cm and more of snow, giving rise to serious consolidation and the formation of hard packed snow, widespread disruption, and thousands of disgruntled businesses, organisations and their customers.
