Durham safety scheme rewarded

The Wise Drive initiative is aimed at young people studying at schools throughout the County Durham and Darlington area within both the public and maintained sectors, which encompasses 7,500 young people.It provides a platform for the partners to annually engage with, inform and educate 1,140 or 15% of this total in respect of the pitfalls and dangers awaiting them as they sit on the eve of obtaining their first driving licences and access to motor vehicles.
