West Mercia Police briefed Mercia branch members on police collision investigations at a recent training session. Officers explained how collision investigations take place, the different types of survey methods used, and how these are used to formulate an idea of the factors that contributed to the collision. The event provided an interesting insight for engineers and those involved in road safety.
