Torvald Klaveness appoints Meyer as chief executive

TORVALD Klaveness, a Norwegian shipping company, has appointed Ernst Meyer as chief executive. Mr Meyer, who is currently serving as chief operating officer and managing director of Klaveness Ship Management, takes over the role on April 1, the company said in a statement. He succeeds Lasse Kristoffersen, who is moving to Wallenius Wilhelmsen.
