Stena and ABP sign up for new terminal

STENA Line is taking advantage of increased unaccompanied trade between the UK and Europe by signing a ￡100m ($135.6m), 50-year concession deal with Associated British Ports for a new freight terminal, which the two companies will develop at the port of Immingham on the Humber. Stena runs four daily freight services from the Humber to the Netherlands and expects demand on these services to continue to grow. Its North Sea volumes increased significantly in 2021, with a 28% year-on-year rise in unaccompanied freight.
