DIAGEO has reported 3% organic growth in volumes for the full year ended 30 June 2011, with organic net sales of flagship Irish stout Guinness growing by 3%, bouncing back from flat sales in 2010. The London-based company's total volumes reached the equivalent of 147.5 million 9-litre cases, up from 143.4 million in the prior year. Net sales reached GBP9.936 billion (USD 16.237 billion), up 5% on an organic basis, while operating profit came in at GBP2.595 billion, up 1% on a reported basis.
