Israeli Guided Bombs

Israel produces a variety of laser and EO guided bombs both for the Israeli air force and for export. These include the IAI Griffin, IAI Guillotine, Rafael Pyramid and Elbit Opher. Elbit is now referring to its family of guided bombs as "Whiz-zard" which includes both the Opher EO guided bomb and the related Lizard laser guided bomb. Recent sales include the export of the Opher to Italy. Rafael's latest entries in this category are the Spice family, including the Spice 250 based around a 250 pound bomb through the Spice 1000, a 1,000 pound bomb with guidance kit and pop-out wings for range extension.
