Prices to inch down again in February

Export prices for CIS pig iron dropped by 7% in January amid much cheaper scrap and high supply. CIS’ overall pig iron exports dropped by 23% to 627,000 t in December, including 167,000 t from Ukraine, down 48%, and 460,000 t from Russia,down 8%.
