Prices to resume rising in June-July

In April, iron ore prices in the long-term contracts went up by 6-8%. The increase was attributed primarily to the Russian rouble devaluation, while the Chinese index (62% Fe) hardly changed in the period under review. Similar price changes took place in the spot market. Besides, suppliers' positions were supported by high order intake in the key export markets.
