ASKING PRECISE QUESTIONS AND GIVING PRECISE ANSWERS CAN HELP US MAKE BETTER DECISIONS AND REDUCE THE CONFLICTS THAT OFTEN ARISE WHEN RESOLVING ISSUES. Each of us makes decisions that turn out to be incorrect or that we later regret, though we may notunderstand how or why we make them. John Hammond, Ralph Keeney and Howard Raiffa (2006) summarized the inherent difficulty in decision making very well by stating that "...in making decisions, you may be at the mercy of your mind's strange workings."
