Chinese ferro-silicon exports fell in August in response to flat buying interest from international consumers because of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. China exported 14,060t of ferro-silicon (Si>55pc) in Au- gust, down by 39pc from 23,038t a year earlier, customs data show.
