Out of eight treatments evaluated against jassid, Amrasca biguttula biguttula (Ishida) infesting okra revealed that cypermethrin + Bacillus thuringiensis var. Kurstaki (Dipel 8L) (0.002 + 0.012%) was found most effective followed by endosulfan + Bacillus thuringiensis var. Kurstaki (Dipel 8L) (0.07 + 0.012%) and cypermethrin (0.002%). The treatment of malathion (0.05%) and carbaryl (0.10%) was found least effective against jassid infesting okra crop. Rest of the treatment, viz., endosulfan (0.07), malathion + B.t. (0.05 + 0.012%) and carbaryl + B.t. (0.10 + 0.012%) ranked in the middle order of efficacy.
