30 urd bean genotypes were studied for assessing the association between yield and its component characters, Yield per plant showed high positive correlation with number of pods/plant and plant height, whereas number of seeds/pod showed significant negative correlation with yield Number of pods per plant recorded the highest genotypic correlation with yield. The path coefficient analysis revealed that number of pods per plant, 100 seed weight and number of seeds/pod had high direct effect as well asindirect effects through other characters on yield per plant.
