China’s CaSi prices may hold stable in near term

China’s calcium-silicon prices are expected to hold stable in the near term as a fall in output offsets flat demand, market participants said. Domestic prices for 30pc grade alloy have been stable at 8,300-8,800 yuan/t ($1,180-1,250/t) ex-works since 9 June, when prices fell by Yn100/t from the low end of the 2 June range.
