摘要

Rhizome tot of ginger is mainly caused by Pythium aphanidermatum (Eds.) Fitz. in different ginger growing areas of north Bihar. In storage control experiment, maximum control of the rhizome was obtained with Ridomil MZ (35%) followed by Saaf (4.0%) In field conditions, the minimum disease incidence (5.00%), maximum germination (96.5%) and maximum crop yield (250.25 q/ha) were recorded when ginger seeds were treated with Ridomil MZ @ 0.2% for an hour.
