Europe Ni: Premiums rise with LME

Premiums for European nickel all moved higher over the past week as spot activity ebbed and flowed while London Metal Exchange (LME) prices moved to near two-month highs. Argus assessed the weekly in-warehouse Rotterdam premiums for nickel briquette at $125-150/t on 6 May, up from $60-80/t a week earlier, and 4x4 cut cathode at $200-225/t, up from 175-200/t. The full-plate nickel cathode assessment rose to $35-50/t, rising from $25-40/t.
