China's antimony trioxide output rises in March

China's antimony trioxide output rose in March as many producers reduced or suspended output a year earlier, following a prolonged lunar new year holiday because of the Covid-19 outbreak. March production increased by 24.57pc to 9,353t from 7,508t a year earlier and up by 42.62pc from 6,558t in February, according to data from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNMIA). Output totalled 26,539t during January-March, up by 48.06pc from 17,924t in the same period of 2020.
