China's Fugu Jinchuan raises magnesium output

Chinese magnesium metal producer Fugu Jinchuan Magnesium increased output this month after it halved production in October because of China's energy consumption curbs. The firm, located in Fugu county of Yulin city in northwest China's Shaanxi province, has 20,000 t/yr of output capacity for the light metal. It suspended operations in the second half of September when all magnesium producers in the county were ordered by the local government to halt production to reduce energy consumption.
