Extraperitoneal bladder injury is common, with extravasation of urine extending outside of the perivesicle space. We present a case of a 47-year-old indigenous woman involved in a motor vehicle crash in a rural area.She had a computer tomography (CT) scan of her abdomen and pelvis which showed multiple pelvic bone fractures and a retroperi-toneal haematoma tracking up to the level of the bifurcation of the aorta.
