Chinese tungsten prices are expected to come under furtherpressure in the short to medium term because of increasedproduction and the global Covid-19 outbreak.Weaker demand from the downstream sectors, both insideand outside China, is expected to weigh on the tungstenmarket in the short term, while possible government aid andtighter profit margins are likely to prevent prices from fallingsignificantly in the longer term.
