Europe: Cr, Co drop amid aerospace woes

Aerospace metals including chromium and cobalt have dropped in recent days, as the Boeing's factory shutdowns sent fresh shockwaves across the market. Trading activity has deteriorated sharply ahead of public holidays in Europe and as the impact of measures to tackle the pandemic reduces manufacturing activity. But prices for electronic metals germanium, gallium and indium remain stable at historically-low levels, with little incentive for sellers to cut offers and buyers deferring purchases as Chinese export prices remain flat.
