China’s titanium dioxide exports rise in august

China’s exports of titanium dioxide rose from a month and year earlier in August on stronger demand from outside of China, following declines during the second quarter of this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic. China exported 117,122t of titanium dioxide in August, up by 34.1pc from a year earlier and by 20pc from the previous month, according to customs data. The average price was $1,786/t last month, down from $1,821/t in July and $2,152/t in August 2019.
