Hyundai, LG to partner on EV battery leasing

South Korean logistics, battery and mobility companies Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Glovis, LG Energy Solution and KST Mobility have signed an initial agreement with the country's ministry of trade, industry and energy (motie) to develop an electric vehicle (EV) battery leasing business. The agreement is for the rental of electric taxi batteries and sustainable reuse of EV batteries in energy storage systems (ESS).
