Rusal raises Al sales, production in 4Q20

Russian aluminium producer Rusal's sales and production rose in the fourth quarter of 2020 as demand from Asia remained strong and London Metal Exchange (LME) prices strengthened from earlier in the year. Rusal produced 950,000t of aluminium in October-December, up by 1.2pc from the previous quarter but down by 0.1pc on the year. Full-year production was 3.76mn t, down by just 0.1pc from 2019.
