Mexico moves closer to implementing second wave of sweeping food labeling reforms

As the second phase of Mexico’s labeling reforms takes effect today (April 1), food and beverage companies have received extra time to comply with a new set of sweeping labeling and packaging changes, including a requirement to eliminate cartoons, characters or celebrities from the packaging of unhealthy foods.
