Mining production 1) Ganluo Branch of Sichuan Hongda Co., Ltd. put its Aidai Lead & Zinc Mine into trial production on June 30, which partially eased the material supply to the zinc smelter of Hongda. On June 9 2004, Sichuan Hongda won the mining right of Aidai Lead & Zinc Mine for RMB 101 million. The mine is proved to have 600,300 tonnes of ores bearing 146,200 tonnes of metals. 2) Bairendaba Silver Polymetallic Mine, located in Hexigten Banner, Chifeng City of Inner Mongolia, was commissioned on September 9. Bairendaba Silver Polymetallic Mine is one of the biggest nonferrous metal mines in North China, bearing 4,598 tonnes of silver, 503,000 tonnes of lead, 1.05 million tonnes of zinc and 1.68 tonnes of gold.
