Russian scrap market

Amid relatively stable scrap collection, a probable decrease in exports and consumption may result in some weakening of competition in the Russian scrap market (in spring at the earliest). Considering high prices early this year, the 2019 average scrap price in Russia will be RUB 16,200/t (FCA without VAT), unchanged from the 2018 average.
