South32 Produces 1.57 Million Tons of Metallurgical Coal from January to March

The metallurgical coal production by South32 Limited went up drastically in the period from January to March in2021. In fact, the production volume of metallurgical coal from January to March reached 1.568 million tons, up by401,000 tons (34.4%) from the actual achievement in the year-earlier period, as a consequence of which the productionvolume of metallurgical coal in the period of 9 months from July 2020 to March 2021 amounted to 4.83 million tons. Thisrepresents an increase of 804,000 tons (20.0%) versus the year-earlier period.
