Hokkaido Gas Agrees to Purchase LNG from Chevron

Hokkaido Gas has entered into an LNG sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Chevron. Under the SPAsigned with Chevron USA Singapore on April 7, the company will receive approximately 0.5 million mt per annum (mtpa)of LNG at its Ishikari LNG terminal in Hokkaido for five years from FY2022 through FY2026 with aims to meet growingnatural gas demand and more stabilize its supply system by diversifying procurement sources.
