North Dakota crude output slides in December as completion rate slows

New York—North Dakota oil production continued to decline in December, but gas output edged higher, the state’s Department of Mineral Resources said Feb. 12. December crude production averaged 1.192 million b/d, down 2.8% from 1.227 million b/d the month prior, DMR said, while total gas production edged 0.1% higher to 2.892 Bcf/d. November crude production was revised 2,600 b/d higher from the previous report released in January.
