NextChem and MET Enter MoU with TAIF To Co-Develop Russian Biopolymer Unit

Kazan-NextChem and MET Development, subsidiaries of Maire Tecnimont SpA, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with MC TAIF JSC (TAIF) to jointly develop a new biodegradable polymer facility in Tatarstan, Russia. Under the agreement, the parties will assess and evaluate the biopolymer plant opportunity in order to establish the fundamentals of the joint development collaboration between the three companies. Details of the planned facility were not given.
