DIC, Jindal Poly Films Reach Agreement To Team Up in Functional CPP Films

New Delhi— DIC Corp. and Jindal Poly Films Ltd. have agreed to collaborate in the area of functional cast polypropylene (CPP) film in India. The two companies are considering entering into a technology licensing agreement, whereby DIC would extend packaging technologies to Jindal; developing and mass-producing functional CPP film using DIC technologies at Jindal's Indian plant; and conducting joint sales of functional CPP film manufactured by Jindal in India with a view to establishing a joint venture.
