Linde Inks Agreement with BorsodChem For Long-Term Gas Supply in Hungary

Budapest— Linde has signed a long-term agreement with BorsodChem for the supply of nitrogen, oxygen and compressed air to BorsodChem's chemical complex in Kazincbarcika, Hungary. Under the agreement, Linde will build "one of the largest" air separation units in Hungary to support BorsodChem's expansion and provide additional nitrogen, oxygen and compressed air to meet the increasing demand for industrial gases in Hungary and surrounding countries, Linde noted. Completion is expected by the end of 2021.
