S. Korean probe determines three countries dumped stainless steel locally

Singapore—South Korea has made a preliminary determination that flat-rolled stainless steel products from China, Indonesia and Taiwan were dumped into the local market, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said Feb. 18. The ministry said the Korea Trade Commission conducted an investigation after Posco filed a complaint in July 2020, alleging that flat-rolled stainless steel products were being dumped. "It was determined that the actual damage to the domestic industry was not minor so a preliminary determination was made," the ministry said.
