S&P Global Platts assessed Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) May 4 at $457.50/mt CFR, up $9.50/mt on the day. “It seems $450-$455/mt CFR is a nice price for buyers today,” one Turkish mill source said.
