Singapore—Seaborne iron ore prices were rangebound March 8, as supply remained tight while buyers awaited clear price signals from the two sessions. S&P Global Platts assessed the 62% Fe Iron Ore Index at $174.15/dry mt CFR North China on March 8, down $0.50/dmt from March 5. The front-month April 62% Fe derivatives were down 45 cents/dmt from March 5 to $167.45/dmt on March 8.
