Oil Prices Slip on Overbought Market, Strong Dollar

Oil futures started the week with mixed movements as traders grappled with acute concerns of an overbought market and a show of support for the floundering US dollar. In London, the front-month March contract for global benchmark Brent slipped 33￠ to $55.66 per barrel at the end of Monday trading, while in New York, the front- month contract for February West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was up a penny and closed the day at $52.25/bbl.
