Chevron Hikes Dividend by 4%

US supermajor Chevron said it will raise its dividend by 5￠, or about 4%, as it competes with its peers for the affection of investors spooked by long-term trends in the oil and gas sector. Chevron’s board on Wednesday declared a quarterly dividend of $1.34 per share, up from $1.29/share previously. The dividend is payable from Jun. 10, 2021.
