The International Energy Agency's (IEA) latest monthly Oil Market Report - the first to contain projections for 2022 - shows average global oil demand of 99.5 million barrels per day next year with consumption exceeding pre-pandemic levels by year's end. The Paris-based agency sees an increase of 3.1 million b/d versus average demand in 2021, with OECD countries contributing 1.3 million b/d and non-OECD countries the remaining 1.8 million b/d.
