Crude markets bounce back

Crude prices recovered on signs of stronger demand and frmer refning margins, although gains remained vulnerable to downward corrections. Atlantic basin benchmark North Sea Dated climbed by $4.79/bl to $70.81/bl over the week to 26 August, clawing back most of the previous week’s losses. US marker October WTI was up by $3.92/bl at $67.42/bl, while Mideast Gulf bench- mark October Dubai rose by $5.15/bl to $69.83/bl.
