摘要

An investigation was carried out during rabi 2011-12 to study the management of Sweet potato weevil through intercropping of marigold in sweet potato {Ipomoea batatas (L). Lam) at Horticultural Research cum Instructional Farm, Department of Horticulture, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G). The experiment was laid out in randomized block design (RBD) with three replications and eleven treatment combinations. On the basis at findings, it may be inferred, that Sweet potato + Marigold African type 1:1 row ratio (T4) was significantly superior to others in the higher production of highest marketable tuber yield (14.88 t ha1) and lowest % of weevil damaged tubers (24.09%). while in sole crop Sweet potato (T1) 12.091 ha~(-1) of marketable tuber yield and 45.96 % of weevil damaged tubers was recorded.
