摘要

Background: Childhood neurological diseases result in neuromotor impairment, which affects selective motor control, compromising the acquisition of motor skills and functional independence. The positive results achieved with virtual reality are believed to be related to training in an interactive environment that provides a broad range of activities and scenarios with multiple sensory channels, enabling the creation of exercises at an intensity based on individual need. Therefore, a review was conducted to answer the following question: What are the possible effects of virtual reality for the pediatric popu-lation, specifically children with cerebral palsy and Down syndrome?
