Northeast Asian spot LNG prices slid 90C to $9-10 per million Btu as fundamentals continued to ease,according to World Gas Intelligence assessments for deliveries four to eight weeks ahead.Spot prices in Southwest Europe were assessed 65c/MMBtu lower at $6.50/MMBtu.The UK National Balancing Point(NBP)day-ahead price was assessed $1.03/MMBtu lower at $6.73/MMBtu.The ICE NBP March front-month contract fell $l.l4/MMBtu to $6.59/MMBtu.Netbacks $1.14/MMBtu to $6.59/MMBtu.Netbacks for Mideast sellers in Asia were around $2.45/MMBtu higher than in Southwest Europe,while UK/Belgian netbacks were $2.47/MMBtu lower than in Asia.World Gas Intelligence-assessed Asian prices have now crashed nearly 65% from their peak of $25/MMBtu just three weeks ago,as most buyers end winter procurement.The price reflected a tight late-January to February market where some deals were done above $30/MMBtu and a calmer March market below $20/MMBtu.
