Health and Safety Statements in veterinary practices

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005, places responsibility for occupational health and safety on all stakeholders - employer, employees, and others visiting places of work. Such places of work include veterinary practices. The 2005 Act also sets out the main provisions for securing and improving the safety, health and welfare of people at work and takes a preventative approach to reducing accidents and ill health at work.
