BIZ: Agreement/R&D TECH: E-Drive-BEV: VWCO and electricity company CPFL sign partnership on electro-mobility R&D

Brazil - Volkswagen Caminhoes e Onibus Ltda., located in Resende, Rio de Janeiro, (a Traton Group company) and energy supply company, CPFL (Companhia Paulista de Forca e Luz) of Campinas, State of Sao Paulo, have signed a partnership agreement to work jointly on electric mobility in Brazil. This agreement is to focus on a research and development (R&D) programme prescribed and led by Aneel, the National Electricity Agency (Agencia Nacional de Electricity).
